Polyester Viscose Yarn
Polyester Viscose (PV) blended yarn — known as TR yarn in some markets — is the global standard raw material for suiting fabric. By combining polyester's strength, dimensional stability, and wrinkle resistance with viscose's distinctive soft drape, silky lustre, and moisture absorption, PV yarn produces fabrics that look and feel significantly more premium than 100% polyester, while offering far better practicality and durability than pure viscose. The result is the suiting industry's most important yarn: strong enough to keep its shape, soft enough to feel luxurious, and economical enough to outfit the world. PV yarn pricing is more volatile than polyester-only yarn because viscose fiber prices fluctuate with wood pulp and energy costs. We recommend requesting an updated quote close to your order date. We provide current pricing within 24 hours of any inquiry.
